Dr. McInnis is a fully Licensed Psychologist who provides individual and family therapy with children, adolescents and adults. He has been licensed as a psychologist in the State of Michigan since 1990. Dr. McInnis works with a variety of emotional and behavioral problems. He is skilled in working with clients of all age groups who experience problems with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, social anxiety, mood swings, anger control, and impulsivity. Dr. McInnis has also worked extensively with clients suffering from traumatization, separation and loss. He is trained in conducting ADHD and psychological evaluations. Dr. McInnis has performed numerous psychological evaluations for the Kent County Family Court system. In addition, he conducts intellectual assessments and is able to assist in determining a student’s eligibility for special education services. Dr. McInnis is the co-author of seven professional books, including the best selling The Child Psychotherapy Treatment Planner, Fourth Edition; The Adolescent Psychotherapy Treatment Planner, Fourth Edition; Child Psychotherapy Homework Planner, Second Edition; and Adolescent Psychotherapy Homework Planner, Second Edition.
